Sigil is a collective based in Beirut and New York City. It was founded in 2014 by Salim al-Kadi, Khaled Malas, Alfred Tarazi and Jana Traboulsi. Along with multiple interlocutors and associates, they have produced a series of representational and site-specific interventions titled ‘monuments of the everyday’. These projects seek to explore the simultaneously marvelous and terrifying metamorphoses of the Arab landscape marked by historical and contemporary struggles. 

Their latest project, Birdsong, is on exhibit at the XXII Triennale di Milano, Broken Nature: Design Takes on Human Survival. This project is also exhibited at the Fateh Moudarres Center for Arts and Culture in the occupied Jawlan. The Triennale is curated by Paola Antonelli with Ala Tannir, Laura Maeran and Erica Petrillo.

منذ عام ٢٠١٤، تعمل مجموعة سِجِلّ  من بيروت ومدينة نيويورك. أَسَّسَها كُلٌّ مِن جنى طرابلسي، ألفريد طرزي، سليم القاضي، وخالد ملص.

بالتعاون مع عدد من المتحاورين والزملاء، انتجت المجموعة سلسلة من المُداخلات  التصويريّة والمعماريّة  تُعرف  باسم "شواهد يوميّة". تهتم المجموعة باستكشاف التحوّلات، العجيبة والمهولة في آن، للمشهد العربي المقرون بالصراعات التاريخيّة والمعاصرة. 

آخر مشاريعهم، "نشيد الطيور"، يُعرَضُ حالياً في التريانالي الثاني والعشرين في ميلانو "طبيعة مكسورة: مقاربات تصميميّة في النجاة الإنسانيّة". كما يتم عرض "نشيد الطيور” بالتوازي في مركز فاتح المدرّس للثقافة والفنون في الجولان السوري المُحتل. قيّمات المعرض هنّ باولا أنطونيلّي وآلاء تنّير، لورا مايران، وإيريكا بيتريلّو.
